About Attorney Machado:

Joseph was born, raised, and resides in Fall River, Massachusetts. The second child of Linda and John Machado, Joseph graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in 2007 and was the first in his family to graduate from college, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2011. Joseph worked as a successful Process Engineer in the manufacturing sector, helping businesses improve their processes and bottom lines for four years before returning to school to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer.

Attending his Alma mater, Joseph obtained both his MBA and Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2018. During his time in law school, Joseph worked with a family law attorney, which is where he found his passion for helping families. Additionally, Joseph has represented the Commonwealth as a SJC Rule 3:03 Student Prosecutor, where he obtained invaluable litigation experience in criminal matters. Joseph sat for and passed the bar exam in 2018 and subsequently opened his law firm in Fall River, Massachusetts in March 2019.
